you’ve got yours, I’ve got mine. You’ve got yours, I’ve got mine. So why did you flee? Don’t you know you can’t leave his control only call all his wild works your own? So come back and we’ll take them all on. So come back to your life on the lam. So come back to your old black sheep man.
Says “I'm waiting on hoof and on hand. I'm waiting, all hated and damned. I'm waiting, I snort and I stamp. I'm waiting, you know that I am, calmly waiting to make you my lamb”

oh lets also not forget his AFL, a .263 ISO with 5 HRs in ~100 PA. Yeah without GB date we're kinda in the dark there but still, it's unlikely had had some massive GB change there.

alright i'm back. i'll try to address everything
first: yeah I like that his HR/FB has steadily increased. that's a good indicator. and to answer your question, i'd peg his HR/FB somewhere around 16% most years. maybe at his peak he gets into 18-19% for a year or two, but for the majority of his career i'd guesstimate 16%. which i think is fair. i'd like to see some kind of chart on the GB/ISO guys we were talking about to chart their HR/FB between MILB and MLB and just HR/FB in general of players who are comparable to logan, both in terms of thier batted ball stats and their age/development level. i've read some stuff on that before but most of it is painting with a really broad brush
second: i'd expect a BABIP of between .320-.330. i can go into a bit more detail at if you want but that's what i'd have him at based on minor league #s. but it's tough to say based on some of them b/c i don't like counting on the LD/FB difference when accounting for minor league splits. i do think that he could also approach .340 - maybe .350 - at his peak, but htere's also a decent chance he's a .305-.315ish guy if he doesn't decrease the ground ball rates and the power doesn't approach 18% HR/FB
third: yeah like i said and you acknowledged looking at that minor league sample of players is helpful but without all the data on their minor league GB rates it's not particularly instructive. i'd really like to see their GB rates as minor leaguers compared to their rates as major leaguers (especially the ones whose ISO dropped off alot) to see whether their rates increased or decreased when they moved from MILB to MLB.
like i said, if we were to look at morrison from a scouting perspective i don't think any of those players are great comps either b/c of morrison's body type and athleticism. morrison has a better chance to "grow into his power" than someone like, say, felipe lopez, but he also has the problem of being a bigger guy (longer swing that's easier to exploit)
everything there? maybe?

With the amount of liners he hits though I think he'll be good for those even if he is slow. Also this post was incredibly bad. It did not make me think, it did not make me question, it did not make me want to go out and test and learn. I will give you the benefit of the doubt since we've basically covered the topic as much as we could be do not fail me next time or you will be chained to a tree for four fortnights. I have claimed you and you will not fail me.
